Product Overview
The MASCAL (Mass Casualty) Active Threat Pack addresses one of the most challenging scenarios in tactical medicine: simultaneous initial treatment of multiple wounded persons when the tactical situation prevents individual focused care. Designed by Tasmanian Tiger for Active Threat Medics (ATMs), Rescue Task Force (RTF) members, and SWAT medics, the pack organizes supplies for rapid hemorrhage control application across multiple casualties in the warm zone of an active shooter event.
The defining feature is the four front-mounted IFAK pouches. These are positioned for immediate, one-handed access without opening the main bag — allowing a medic to quickly grab a pre-staged hemorrhage control kit and press it into service while already moving to the next casualty. The interior layout of the main compartment is designed for stocking additional MASCAL supplies: bulk tourniquets, chest seals, pressure bandages, and airway adjuncts organized for rapid distribution across a multiple-casualty event.
Laser-cut MOLLE on both sides allows additional pouches, radio holsters, and specialized accessories to be integrated without adding loops or stitching that could snag. The pack maintains a low-profile 3.9″ depth for vehicle carry and does not impede movement in confined spaces. CORDURA® 700 denier provides the structural integrity expected of Tasmanian Tiger products used by NATO-allied special operations forces.
