Product Overview

The TacMed™ Warm Zone Kit was developed in response to the growing operational deployment of medical personnel into warm zone environments in active shooter and mass casualty scenarios. As law enforcement agencies, school districts, and emergency medical services increasingly push medical responders forward — into areas where the threat has not been fully neutralized — the warm zone kit provides a single portable platform with multi-casualty treatment capability.

The dual tourniquet and dual chest seal loadout allows the responding medic to treat two simultaneous critical casualties with complete hemorrhage and thoracic management. The triage flagging tape (black, yellow, red, green) and red chem lights support proper SALT or START mass casualty triage operations in low-light environments. The four-color flag system allows medics to mark casualties by priority status, directing incoming responders to the highest-priority patients first.

The adjustable drawbridge system on the Warm Zone Bag controls how far the front flap opens, allowing the user to fine-tune access based on operational conditions — a fast full-open for mass casualty chaos, or a more controlled partial open for organized triage. The completely modular interior allows users to adjust supply placement based on their specific role and anticipated injury pattern.
